Personality testing is rapidly becoming a "best practice" for companies interested in selecting high-caliber employees and developing talent. Performance Programs, Inc. will offer three professional certification seminars on the leading personality test for the workplace, the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI). The HPI offers a business-based assessment of personality, unlike most job personality tests. It is designed to predict occupational success.

Performance Programs is an authorized distributor and certification training provider for Hogan Assessments. Performance Programs' 2007 seminars are scheduled on Thursday April 5, Friday June 8, Thursday October 11, and Friday December 7 in Old Saybrook, CT. The one-day event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The seminar fee is $995.

Hogan Personality Inventory is published by Hogan Assessment Systems of Tulsa, OK. All Hogan products are grounded in 30+ years of research and scientifically-based predictive power. Their tests are in use by organizations of all types and sizes worldwide.

The Hogan certification seminar shows participants how to administer, interpret, and provide coaching to individuals based on Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) results. They will also learn how to use two other validated personality instruments by Hogan Assessment Systems: the Hogan Development Survey (HDS), and the Motivation, Values, and Preferences Inventory (MVPI). Participants will learn about the optimal uses of all three validated tests, their history and development, and specialized reports—including the Leadership Forecast Series. Each participant receives hands-on experience interpreting his or her own report.
